Previously, on the afternoon of March 12, 2022, the police received information from the public about the discovery of a corpse lying in a hammock, with stab wounds to the chest in the field of Bau Nga hamlet (commune). Tan Lam, Xuyen Moc District, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province).
The victim was identified as Mr. Vi Van San (SN: 1971, a native of Lang Son province), who worked in the fields here. Carrying out an investigation, the police identified and arrested the subject Nguyen Trang (who worked as a bird trap) while on his way to escape, and confiscated the knife that caused the crime.
At the police station, subject Nguyen Trang confessed that during the process of living together in the field where Mr. San works, subject Trang suspected that the victim had cut his hand with a knife and stole money while he was sleeping, resulting in an accident on both sides.
Moments later, taking advantage of Mr. San is lying in a hammock, Trang uses a knife to stab the victim in the chest, killing the victim. After committing the crime, Trang fled the scene.
The case is currently under police investigation.
