Burned nearly 300m2 of the factory in Hoang Mai district, Hanoi

At about 5:45 pm on March 16, a big fire suddenly broke out at the factory at 19, lane 200 Vinh Hung, Hoang Mai, Hanoi. Because there are many flammable substances, the fire broke out violently, the fire spread to many other factories.

The area where the fire occurred at the factory row has a scale of 1 floor, the main structure is steel frame with corrugated iron roof. According to initial information, the fire area of ​​3 business households includes a screen printing establishment, a paper box processing facility, and a plywood processing facility.

Immediately upon receiving the information, the Hanoi Police Command Center dispatched 2 fire engines and 1 command vehicle of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team, Hoang Mai District Police. , along with 15 officers and soldiers to the scene to deploy fire fighting.

Assessing the situation of the fire that is likely to spread to the neighboring area and complicated developments because the combustibles are mainly flammable materials such as paper, pressed wood, etc., the Command Center has mobilized expenditures. Hospital with 4 fire engines and 30 officers and soldiers from the following units: Hai Ba Trung District Police and Area 5 Fire Protection and Rescue Team, Hanoi City Police Department of Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue to coordinate in approaching and deploying treatment. on fire.

At the same time, direct the ward police force, the traffic police team – order and functional forces … to organize traffic flow and ensure security and order in the area where the fire occurs.

After nearly 3 hours of fighting the fire, by about 8 p.m. on the same day, the fire was basically under control and did not spread to neighboring buildings and houses.

According to initial statistics, the total area of ​​​​the fire is about 300m2. The incident caused no loss of life.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the authorities.
