Cyprus approves 4th dose of COVID-19 vaccine for high-risk groups

According to the Ministry of Health of Cyprus, the fourth dose of the vaccine will be given to people over 70 years old, HIV patients, people with low immunity, kidney failure patients on dialysis. Staff and residents of nursing homes and healthcare workers will also need a fourth dose of the vaccine.

The Ministry of Health of Cyprus also urges parents with children 12 years of age and older who have received 2 doses of basic vaccine for their children to receive the 3rd dose of vaccine. However, the 3rd dose of vaccine is given to the child and the 4th dose. for adults is optional and will not affect the validity of the European Union Digital Certificate for COVID-19.
