Vietnam helps Laos build Radio – Broadcasting in Bokeo province

This is one of the projects from the Vietnamese Government’s non-refundable aid to the Government of Laos, which will be handed over during the Vietnam – Laos and Laos – Vietnam Friendship Year 2022.

Of the total investment of 116.67 billion VND for the project, nearly 113 billion VND (equivalent to nearly 5 million USD) is the non-refundable aid capital of the Government of Vietnam. This is one of four projects assigned by the Government to Vietnam Television to implement, using the aid of the Government of Vietnam for the Lao PDR in the field of radio and television broadcasting, and is the first project funded by the Government of Vietnam. synchronously invest in a full range of work items such as infrastructure construction, specialized equipment systems with the scale of a provincial-level radio and television station.

The project has completed all work items and put into trial broadcast on October 25, 2020 and from January 2021 to now has officially broadcast to serve the Lao people and the Vietnamese community in the province. Bokeo; at the same time, helping the team of technicians and editors of Bokeo Radio and Television Station to access and adapt to modern advanced machinery, equipment, and infrastructure.
