On March 28, a source from the office of the People’s Committee of Hoang Liet ward said that the unit had received a document from the Center for Women and Development, the Vietnam Women’s Union about a citizen living in the area. accused of raping and brutally beating a girl.
According to the document, the Center received information from Ms. VNH (24 years old, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi city), who told Mr. T. (Chairman of a hospital, cum dean of a university in Hanoi. ) beating, raping.
The Center for Women and Development, the Vietnam Women’s Union has forwarded the denunciation of Ms. NH to the People’s Committee of Hoang Liet ward, asking the relevant parties to cooperate in verification.
According to the denunciation, Mr. T is a colleague and student of Ms. NH’s mother, thanks to which the two got to know each other. After graduating from University, she was invited by Mr. T. to return to his hospital to work and promised to guide and guide her work.
While working at the hospital, Ms. H. accused Mr. T. even though he had a wife and children, he still solicited her to have sex, but the girl refused.
In the application, Ms. H. said that once while traveling, Mr. T. had drunk alcohol and raped her. After this time, the man used every trick to force the girl into an informal relationship and threatened to release a hot clip if he didn’t approve.
From about January 2020 to January 2022, Ms. H. was repeatedly abused mentally and sexually by Mr. T.

In addition, the denunciation also stated, every time she refused to have sex, Ms. H. was threatened by Mr. T to achieve her goal. Many times of unsuccessful resistance, fear of affecting the honor of herself and Mr. T., so Ms. H. did not speak up.
About January, when she was too tired, Ms. H asked to end her illicit relationship but was beaten, threatened and raped by Mr. T. In addition, Mr. T. repeatedly threatened to make Ms. H. report to the police where she lives for protection measures.
Regarding this information, the leader of the police station of the ward where NH lives said, on March 6, the victim’s family met with the area police to “ensure safety at the place of residence”. According to him, on March 5, a woman suddenly came to the apartment complex where NH lived to curse and ask for money, leading to an argument.
A source from the police of Hoang Liet ward, Hoang Mai district, Hanoi confirmed that it had received the denunciation from VNH. Currently, the ward police are verifying, investigating and clarifying the case.
