1. For Yamaha vehicles:
– Turn the ignition switch to the “OFF” position.
– Press and hold the ignition for 5 seconds until the smart lock system indicator flashes once, then release the lock. Continue to repeat 2 more times.
– After the smart lock system indicator light turns off, start entering the secret number sequence.
– Entering the secret number is done by counting the number of blinks of the indicator light while holding down the ignition (For example, number 5 will hold down the ignition until the smart lock system indicator light flashes 5 times) . Enter numbers one by one until the sequence is complete.
– When entering the correct sequence of secret numbers, wait for the lock system light to turn off and proceed to unlock the car as usual.
2. For Honda vehicles:
– Press and hold the button for 4 seconds for the light when the smart lock system indicator light starts flashing.
– Keep pressing the start button again while the smart lock system indicator light is blinking.
– Enter the secret code. Number input is done by pressing the number button (For example, number 5 will press the button 5 times).
– When entering the correct secret number sequence, the lock system indicator light will turn off and the buzzer will sound twice. At this point, you can turn the ignition to the “On” position and start the vehicle.
