Surprised, Jerel screamed in fright. Hearing the man’s silent screams, a neighbor quickly ran over, grabbed the snake with a hammer and beat it to death.
“I was bitten by a snake in the face but I don’t know what kind of snake it was. Then I went to the hospital to have it checked and luckily the snake was not venomous,” said Jerel.
Rodney, the homeowner, said the snake was nearly 1.7 meters long and probably crawled onto the terrace to hide from the rain.
