After Tom’s death, the 82-year-old man built a small temple in the middle of a vacant lot near his house. The money he saved was used to make a statue for his four-legged friend.
The small temple is open to everyone. Mr. Muthu still comes every day to burn incense and place offerings on the statue of the dog Tom. On a special occasion, he made his dog Tom’s favorite food to burn incense.
