Running to raise funds for heart surgery for disadvantaged children

Viettel Fastest takes place at the Hoan Kiem lakeside area from 5am to 10:30pm on April 24. This is the only speed cross country race in Vietnam, held for the first time in 2020. The race has a distance of 10km, for three subjects: professional, semi-professional and amateur.

The organizers said that all proceeds from the sale of BIB will be donated to the free humanitarian heart surgery program called “Heart for you”, founded and implemented by Viettel and the Vietnamese Heart Foundation.

The organizers collected 500 million VND in the first time organizing for 1,500 runners in 2020. In the second time, the Organizing Committee hopes to attract about 2,000 participants, collect 600 million VND to support.

The entry fee for the race is 300,000 VND/runner for early registration and increases to 350,000 VND for late registration. The total value of the prize in cash is 138 million VND. In addition, each athlete who finished first in each category was also given many valuable artifacts such as jogging watches by the sponsor…

“Running is a very good sport for health, Viettel Fastest is firstly organized with the aim of encouraging a healthy sports exercise movement for the community. On the other hand, through this run, Viettel wants to spread the word. social and charity activities”, shared Mr. Nguyen Quang Lap – Deputy General Director of Viettel Telecom Corporation.
