Recently (April 6), more than 1 million primary and sixth grade students across Hanoi officially returned to school in person, after nearly a year at home learning online. With the return to school, if some young children, especially those in grade 1, have not yet had time to get used to them and are still confused, children in grades 2-6 are much happier and more excited. On the evening of April 5, 2022, the program 24h Motion (aired on VTV1) interviewed some parents and children about the mood of preparing to go back to school. Appearing on television, a 1st grade girl excitedly shared: “I like to study in person because I can do my homework in the evening”. Not only that, the girl also “revealed” a sentence that made everyone laugh: “Because every time I study, my mother is like… that lion!”.

After grades 1-6, in the near future, preschool children of preschool educational institutions in 30 districts, towns will go to school directly from April 13. According to the plan of the Department of Education and Training, on the voluntary basis and with the consent of the parents of the students, the preschool education institutions will take care of, nurture and educate children according to the school’s teaching plan and organize activities.
