The first KIA pickup truck revealed photos on the street

The first image of a pickup truck using an electric motor from KIA has just appeared in a short clip.

Recently on social networking sites spread a pickup model with the new Kia logo, which is expected to launch in the near future. Accordingly, in an exchange, the Korean car brand Kia also confirmed that it will launch a pickup model with an all-electric powertrain. Not long after that, the first photo of this model was spread on social networking channels.

Some unconfirmed information indicates that there will be two rather than one pickup model that will use a traditional internal combustion engine and an all-electric engine, respectively. Previously, it was reported that Kia’s new pickup model will be a hybrid hybrid.

Based on the above information, it can be judged that the pure-electric pickup model will be introduced in the European and North American markets first to keep up with current trends as well as emissions regulations in the future. The traditional internal combustion engine version will serve developing markets.

This is not the first time Kia has revealed the concept pickup truck, which the company previously introduced the KCV-4 Mojave model, but then no more information, but instead is the Mohave/Borrego SUV model for the domestic market. It is possible that thanks to the technologies developed along with the introduction of the Santa Cruz by brother brand Hyundai, that Kia has returned to the segment with a large number of consumers.

It is estimated that maybe in 2024, Kia will launch the above pickup versions, the time when the EV 9 SUV officially joins its global lineup. Recently, Kia has been highly appreciated thanks to the makeover of key products such as Kia K3, K5, along with changing the design language and the price has also been adjusted to increase the customer base.

In Vietnam, within the last 1-2 years, Kia has had a strong sales momentum when bringing back Seltos and Sonet small SUVs, a new SUV and MPV duo including Sorento, Carnival and the model with key sales. K3 makes the business situation better than many years ago which only Kia Morning is a hot item.
