The products, Kinder Mix Chocolate Baskets and Kinder Happy Moments Milk Chocolates and Crispy Cakes, were made in a facility in Belgium where salmonella was detected.
To date, there have been no reports of illness in the United States associated with the products, Ferrero said in his announcement, posted Thursday on the website of the Food and Drug Administration.
