Many street art projects become works of honor

Once upon a time, street art like graffiti (Mural) was considered as graffiti, dirtying the urban landscape, but now it is different.

An installation of more than 600 large-format black and white portraits filled a basketball court in San Blas in the Venezuelan capital, Caracas.

This installation is part of the Inside Out project, an initiative of French street artist Jean René. The aim of the project is to erase that image through art, as a way to keep the youth here away from violence.

Now, the area’s narrow streets are decorated with murals and graffiti by local and international artists.

Painting murals to beautify the capital

A group of 35 artists from across Australia have gathered in the capital Canberra to participate in an event to renovate the living spaces in the dull parts of the city. With their skillful hands and creativity, the walls are gradually changing colors.

Artists work together to create drawings of different themes and sizes with familiar tools such as paintbrushes and spray paints.

They have turned neighborhoods into real-life art galleries and brought art closer to everyone.

According to the artists, in addition to the purpose of changing the appearance of the neighborhoods, this painting event also aims to attract tourists to Canberra.
