At about 1:13 on April 21, the Information Center of the Hanoi Police Department received a report of a fire at house 116 B9 Kim Lien dormitory area, lane 65 Pham Ngoc Thach (Kim Lien ward) mobilized. 1 command vehicle, 4 fire engines belonging to Dong Da District Police and Hai Ba Trung District Police came to the scene to rescue.

The fire injured Mr. BNL (39 years old, son of Mrs. M.) and nephew of BQH (12 years old, son of Mr. L.) injured.
5 people died, including: Mrs. M., Ms. D.MH (37 years old, her daughter-in-law M.), Mr. BNK (37 years old, her biological son M.), BNP’s nephew (10 years old, his son L. ) and his nephew BGH (1 year old, his son L.).
