The total number of deaths from Covid-19 in Vietnam so far is 43,013, accounting for 0.4% of the total number of infections; ranked 24/227 territories, number of deaths per 1 million people ranked 130/227 countries and territories in the world; ranked 6/49 compared to Asia and ranked 3rd in ASEAN.
Regarding the testing situation, from April 27, 2021 up to now, 39,490,331 samples have been taken, equivalent to 85,789,114 turns of people.
Regarding the vaccination situation, the total number of vaccine doses administered is 212,390,774 doses. In there:
– Number of injections for people aged 18 and over is 194,475,837 doses: 1st dose is 71,433,026 doses; The second dose is 68,594,984 doses; The third dose is 1,505,754 doses; The additional dose is 15,199,860 doses; The booster dose is 37,742,213 doses.
– Number of injections for children aged 12-17 is 17,339,166 doses: 1st dose is 8,884,614 doses; The second dose is 8,454,552 doses.
