MV “My eyelids are melancholy” is the latest song of the female singer Dong Nhi combined with Wowy, which has just launched, quickly climbed to the Top 1 of the iTunes chart in Vietnam in less than 24 hours. The song is also reaching the Top 1 trending song on Vietnam’s Youtube, marking the special and monumental comeback of Dong Nhi as well as the new collaboration with Wowy in the Vietnamese music industry.
When being interviewed about his feelings, Wowy did not hesitate to share with the press about the fact that Dong Nhi and Wowy are the same age, looking at her professional investment friend, the image in the MV is like a cut out for an electric movie. The legendary photo is aimed at young people in Vietnam, too elaborate and majestic, Wowy himself really admires and feels the need to try to learn more from Dong Nhi.

Wowy said, the first meeting between the two for this special combination was at Wowy’s contemporary art exhibition held in early 2021. Mr. Cao Thang and Dong Nhi came to the exhibition to show off. Wowy’s admiration for the talent, not only a rapper but also a unique feature of an artist who explores art from many different perspectives.
Right after her contemporary exhibition, Wowy accepted to participate in Dong Nhi’s project to return to the music track, and Wowy started composing right at that stage.
In particular, Wowy revealed that the rap lyrics were not actually written by Wowy. Sharing about this, Wowy said that when he wrote the song, he was absorbed in the MV idea and the story of Trong Thuy – Mi Chau. Like some of Wowy’s other songs, sometimes he feels that writing music is not controlled by himself, but from a certain energy that leads and makes his hand write, sometimes when he wakes up the next day, I don’t know why I wrote a song yesterday.
