Seeing many people running in the opposite direction on the sidewalk without being stopped by the traffic police, the female driver “followed” after she was suddenly asked by the traffic police to stop and check.

The image of the incident shared by a member of the OFFB facebook group shows that, after the female driver was stopped by the traffic police, a series of drivers running behind immediately turned around and stopped running towards the traffic police.

The image from the clip also shows that the intersection in front of the traffic police section is congested with a rather crowded number of vehicles.

According to the Decree on sanctioning of administrative violations in the field of road and railway traffic (Decree 100/2019/ND-CP), amended and supplemented by Decree 123/2021/ND-CP, fines a fine ranging from VND 400,000 to VND 600,000 for drivers who commit the act of “driving the vehicle on the sidewalk, except for the case of driving the vehicle through the sidewalk to enter the house”.
