Experiential activities introduced and promoted the culture of the Mong Son La ethnic group, especially the art of Khemong and the art of creating patterns on the costumes of the Mong Hoa people, in Moc Chau district, which are two African cultural heritages. Objects are included in the national list, contributing to the preservation and promotion of ethnic identities.
At the same time, create a healthy, happy and useful playground and educate the younger generation to better understand customs and habits, preserve and promote the unique cultural features of the ethnic groups.
Ngo Thi Hai Yen, Director of the Son La Provincial Museum, said: “Moc Chau district has two intangible cultural heritages included in the list of national intangible cultural heritage, the first is art. Hmong Khen art, the second is the art of creating patterns on the costumes of the Mong ethnic group, then these two cultural heritages are also brought up for introduction here”.
Artist Vang Thi Ly in Ta No 2 village, Moc Chau district, Son La province, said: “We still maintain our embroidery craft, this is the identity of the Mong people, which we will pass on to generations to come. so that traditional professions do not disappear”.
