Regarding the gift bag containing 450 million VND of Viet A Company brought to Mr. Lanh’s house, Hau Giang Provincial Police said that the police agency has seized the gift bag and is verifying it is related to the behavior of Mr. Lanh. Mr. Lanh’s offense or not. The case has also been reported by the Provincial Police to the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People’s Committee.
Previously, the Inspection Committee of Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee decided to discipline all positions in the Party towards Mr. Lanh, Mr. Dang and Ms. Doan. On that basis, the Director of the Department of Health decided to discipline by dismissing the three individuals above.
