Car caught fire in Nghe An, family of 4 were lucky to escape

The fire happened at about 1pm on May 15, the car Toyota Altis BKS 37M – 55XX was driven by Mr. NTH (SN 1985, residing in Cat Van commune, Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An) moving on Highway 46C, section through Thanh Chuong district.

When arriving in Thanh Lien commune, Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province, the car suddenly caught fire. At this time, in the car, besides Mr. H., he also had his wife and 2 small children.

After detecting the fire, all 4 members of the family were lucky to escape, at the same time shouting at the people and calling the emergency services.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police Department directed the CC&CNCH Team 7 to mobilize 2 fire engines and 16 officers to quickly arrive at the scene.

However, due to the hot weather and wind, the car was completely destroyed by the fire.

At the scene of the fire, there was a lot of straw, many people said, maybe the car was wrapped in straw to dry on the road.

Mr. Nguyen Ba Ngoc, Chairman of Thanh Lien Commune People’s Committee said: “Fortunately, all four people in the car got out safely. At present, it is not possible to confirm that the car caught fire due to being wrapped in straw on the road. The cause of the fire is still being investigated by the police.”
