Apple officially released iOS 15.5-Information Technology

Apple has just released an update to iOS 15.5 (and iPadOS 15.5) for iPhone 6s and later models to add a number of new features.

Because it’s just an update iOS 15.5, so this is not a major update for iPhone users, but that does not mean that it lacks noticeable new features.

iOS 15.5 is compatible with iPhone 6s and later versions.

First, the app Apple Wallet now allows Apple Cash customers to send and request money from their Apple Cash card. Second, the Apple Podcasts app includes a new setting to limit the episodes stored on the device and automatically delete older episodes.

Additionally, an issue related to home automation, which could fail when someone arrives or activate itself when someone leaves, has also been fixed. Apple even mentioned that this update includes more than 25 security fixes. While Apple reassures that no bugs are being exploited by hackers, it is clear that users need to update as soon as possible.

In case you don’t want to wait for an update prompt from Apple, users can install iOS 15.5 right away for their device by going to the Settings app, selecting General and tapping Software update.
