On May 23, the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City requested the city’s Department of Education and Training to review and clarify responsibilities related to the national exam to select excellent students at the high school level in the school year 2021-2022 at the HCM City Examination Council. . Accordingly, the Examination Council in Ho Chi Minh City has three participating units: the Department of Education and Training, the National University of Ho Chi Minh City and the Ho Chi Minh City University of Education with 179 candidates.
With the Department of Education and Training, each Math and Physics team has eight contestants; Each team of Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, English, French, Chinese and Chinese has 10 contestants.
This number exceeds the regulations under the regulations of the national exam for excellent students in Circular 56/2011. The team of each subject of each unit (except Hanoi) has a maximum of six candidates.
With the Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City, the teams of Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Informatics, Literature and English all have 10 contestants; Chemistry has seven contestants, all exceeding the allowed number.
The ministry asked the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and the National University of Ho Chi Minh City to review and handle the responsibility in the establishment of teams that exceed the number.

The Department of Education and Training does not arrange the registration numbers according to the order of the candidates’ names in each subject, but according to each team, contrary to the regulations on the national competition for excellent students.
On the test day of March 4, the exam board distributed two subjects English and Informatics to candidates 25 minutes earlier. The incident was recorded and handled by the inspection team. The responsibility is determined by the Chairman of the Examination Council and the Examination Board.
The national exam to select excellent students for the academic year 2021-2022 will take place in three days (March 4 to 6) at 67 exam boards with 4,671 candidates, 12 exam subjects.
More than 2,200 out of more than 4,600 contestants won prizes. Hanoi leads in the number of awards with 125 children; followed by Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Nghe An.
Ho Chi Minh City ranked 10th in the country with 66 prizes; including seven first prizes; Ho Chi Minh City National University has 46 prizes with three first prizes. Ho Chi Minh City University of Education has three prizes (one third prize, two consolation prizes).
