Previously, Bach Mai Hospital also received and treated a 23-year-old male patient with phone explosion to the point of loss of vision, total body burns and damage to many organs due to accidents caused by using mobile phones while charging.

The patient was admitted to the hospital in an unconscious state, his whole body scorched and many injuries. The patient is a young man from the San Diu ethnic group, currently working as a construction worker in Hanoi.

Relatives said that in the evening, when everyone was watching TV outside the living room, they suddenly heard a loud explosion coming from the patient’s private room. After being resuscitated by first aid, the patient said that he was using the phone while it was charging, so the phone exploded.
