The world has a portable power bank for… electric cars

First announced at CES 2022, this is BLUETTI’s EB3A, a portable power station that can literally charge cars. The best thing about this power bank is that this power bank weighs only 10 pounds (4.5 kg) and can be recharged via solar energy.

Designed to be quite compact, the EB3A is a “portable powerhouse” that gives you off-grid power whenever you need it. This power bank has a capacity of 268Wh and a pure sine wave 600W inverter to safely charge devices, the EB3A allows to power any common objects, like phones and AirPods, but also can quickly charge much larger devices like laptops, lawn mowers, electric grills, and of course cars. It’s the perfect device to take with you on outdoor camping trips, but it’s equally practical when you’re at home but the power goes out.

BLUETTI EB3A allows you to charge your device in three modes. Standard mode provides 268W of power output, while silent mode limits output to 100W (charges devices more slowly, but ensures quiet operation by limiting fan speed). However, if you’re in a hurry and don’t mind a bit of noise, the EB3A also features a turbo mode that allows super-fast charging of the device at an incredible 430W.

Despite its compact size, the EB3A still accommodates all ports and outlets. The EB3A comes with two AC outlets, one DC outlet, two 12V/10A ports, two USB-A ports and one 100W USB-C port capable of fast charging phones, tablets, laptops, and computers. drone or game console. In addition, the EB3A also has a built-in light for use during power cuts.

The AC charging input allows your EB3A power bank to be fully charged in less than 70-80 minutes. If you want more durable equipment and when off-grid, the EB3A also comes with optional 200W solar panels, which power up the EB3A for an hour and a half.

The EB3A also comes with a built-in LCD screen, and the parameters will appear on this screen. Internally, the EB3A is equipped with a long-lasting LiFePO4 battery cell (capable of 2500+ charge cycles) and even has built-in protections against overload, short circuit or overheating, extending its life of the battery.

In addition to the LCD display, the BLUETTI EB3A comes with a companion app that allows you to monitor and control your mobile power station remotely.

BLUETTI EB3A was originally designed as a mobile power solution. It measures about 25 cm in width, 20 cm in height and depth, and weighs 4.5 kg. The foldable handle makes it easy to take the EB3A with you wherever you go, and the EB3A fits in the trunk of a car, allowing it to be taken with you to camping trips in the wilderness.

The BLUETTI EB3A starts shipping mid-June and each mobile power station comes with a 2-year warranty.
