63 young men and women high in drugs in Paradise bar

Police stormed into Paradise bar in Tan Phu district, Ho Chi Minh City and brought more than 100 people to screen, found 63 people positive for drugs.

On May 27, the Tan Phu District Police (HCMC) consolidated records to handle 63 young men and women who were found to be positive for drugs at Paradise bar (no. 89 Tan Son Nhi street).

Around 1 a.m. on the same day, scouts from the Criminal Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Public Security coordinated with professional units of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department, and the Tan Phu District Police to storm the aforementioned bar.

In the intense music, hundreds of young men and women were dancing when they discovered the police. Many people tried to escape but were stopped. Others tried to dispose of suspected drug tablets on the floor, under tables and chairs.

Police discovered a nylon bag containing pellets suspected of being multicolored drugs. 108 “players” with suspicious signs and no papers were brought to the office. Through the inspection, the functional force discovered 63 people positive for drugs.

The functional force has made a record to handle many violations at the aforementioned bar. Currently the case is under investigation.
