Suddenly checked many companies in Ho Chi Minh City, discovered hundreds of thousands of cosmetic products, functional foods with signs of smuggling.

According to information from the General Department of Information Management, the Information Management Team No. 1, the Market Management Department of Ho Chi Minh City inspected the warehouse of nearly 500m2 of Dotcom Technology Company Limited (at address 45/20 Luong Minh Nguyet). , Tan Thoi Hoa ward, Tan Phu district) discovered more than 100,000 products including cosmetics, lipstick, makeup remover…. suspected smuggling.

The warehouse owner, Mr. Pham Tri Nguyen, could not present the purchase and sale invoice, documents proving the legal origin of the product.

Initially, it was determined that all of these cosmetics were made in China, without sub-labels in Vietnamese. The owner of the shipment has not yet registered a business license.

Working with the functional forces, Mr. Nguyen acknowledged that the goods bought floating in the market from different sources, then resell on social networks to make a profit. The whole product is worth about 6 billion VND.

On the same day, Information Management Team No. 3 inspected the business premises and two warehouses of Kamiki Co., Ltd. at alley 43 Thanh Thai, District 10, and discovered many functional food products, cosmetics, milk powder… no clear origin, suspected smuggled.

The above items were seized by the competent force for investigation and clarification.
