State President presents Labor Medal to athletes with high achievements at SEA Games 31

Accordingly, the State President decided to award the Second-class Labor Medal to four athletes with high achievements at the 31st SEA Games including: Nguyen Huy Hoang, of the national swimming team, won 5 gold medals and broke 2 records. at the SEA Games; Tran Hung Nguyen, National Swimming Team, won 4 gold medals, broke 2 SEA Games 31 records; Nguyen Thi Huong, National Canoeing Team, won 5 Gold Medals; athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh, national track and field team, won 3 gold medals, breaking 1 SEA Games record.

President Nguyen Xuan Phuc also decided to award the Third-class Labor Medal to 2 teams and 19 individuals with high achievements at the 31st SEA Games:

Two teams, including the national U23 men’s soccer team and the national women’s soccer team, both won the 31st SEA Games gold medal.

The 19 individuals include:

Athlete Le Hoang Phong, National Aerobic Team, won 3 gold medals at the Games;

Athlete Tran Ngoc Thuy Vi, National Aerobic Team, won 3 gold medals;

Athlete Hoang Quy Phuoc, National Swimming Team, won 2 gold medals and broke 1 record at SEA Games;

Athlete Nguyen Huu Kim Son, National Swimming Team, won 1 gold medal, broke 1 SEA Games record;

Athlete Pham Thanh Bao, National Swimming Team, won 2 gold medals, broke 1 record at SEA Games 31;

Athlete Truong Thi Phuong, National Canoeing Team, won 3 gold medals;

Athlete Lo Thi Hoang, National Athletics Team, won 1 gold medal, broke 1 record;

Athlete Nguyen Thi Huyen, National Athletics Team, won 2 gold medals, broke 1 record;

Athlete Quach Thi Lan, National Athletics Team, won 2 gold medals, broke 1 record;

Athlete Nguyen Van Lai, National Athletics Team, won 2 gold medals;

Athlete Dang Thu Huong, National Sports Dance Team, won 3 gold medals;

Athlete Nguyen Doan Minh Truong, Dance Sports Team, won 3 gold medals;

Athlete Nguyen Thanh Loc, of the National Diving Team, won 3 gold medals and broke 3 SEA Games records;

Athlete Dinh Thi Hao, National Rowing Team, won 3 gold medals;

Athlete Pham Thi Hue, National Rowing Team, won 3 gold medals;

Athlete Pham Thi Thao, National Rowing Team, won 3 gold medals;

Athlete Dinh Phuong Thanh, National Gymnastics Team, won 3 gold medals;

Athlete Lai Gia Thanh, of the National Weightlifting Team, won 01 gold medal, breaking 1 SEA Games record;

Athlete Pham Thi Hong Thanh, of the National Weightlifting Team, won 1 gold medal, breaking 1 SEA Games record.
