According to the Law on Tourism, tourists entering Vietnam are required to have travel insurance. Normally, travel insurance covers problems such as accidents, risks, acute diseases, etc., but does not cover Covid-19 treatment. However, the treatment of Covid-19 cases is not as expensive as before, most do not have to stay in the hospital for long-term treatment.

Based on the actual situation of the Covid -19 epidemic and the current loosened regulations on the prevention of the Covid -19 epidemic, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism realizes that it is required for international visitors to have health insurance or travel insurance. Calendars with content to pay for Covid-19 treatment are no longer required.
