The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs is collecting opinions on the Government’s decree regulating the regional minimum wages for employees working under labor contracts.
According to the draft decree, from July 1, the minimum wage for Region I is 4,680,000 VND/month, Region II is 4,160,000 VND/month, Region III is 3,640,000 VND/month and Region IV is 3,250. 000 VND/month.
The above-mentioned minimum salary increases by 6% on average (corresponding to an increase of VND 180,000 – VND 260,000) compared to the current minimum wage.
In addition, there are many changes in the location of the new minimum wage from July 1.
Specifically, adjusting from zone II to zone I for Ha Long city in Quang Ninh province, Xuan Loc district in Dong Nai province.
Adjustment from Region III to Region II for: Quang Yen and Dong Trieu townships in Quang Ninh province; Hoa Binh city and Luong Son district of Hoa Binh province; Vinh city, Cua Lo town and Nghi Loc and Hung Nguyen districts of Nghe An province; Hoa Thanh town, Tay Ninh province; Vinh Long city and Binh Minh town in Vinh Long province; Bac Lieu city in Bac Lieu province
The localities from region IV to region III include districts of Van Don, Hai Ha, Dam Ha and Tien Yen in Quang Ninh province; districts of Quynh Luu, Yen Thanh, Dien Chau, Do Luong, Nam Dan, Nghia Dan and the towns of Thai Hoa and Hoang Mai in Nghe An province; Mang Thit district of Vinh Long province and Hoa Binh district of Bac Lieu province.
