Meghan Markle and her husband invited Princess Kate’s family to their daughter’s birthday
On June 7, Page Six reported that Harry and his wife – Meghan Markle invited the Cambridge family and their children to a party to celebrate Lilibet’s 1 year old birthday.
According to this American newspaper, the invitation is intended to reconcile and heal the feelings between the two royal couples after a long time of separation. However, the Cambridge family was absent because of the busy schedule at the Platinum ceremony.
Princess Kate and her husband could not attend Lilibet’s birthday because of their busy schedule.
A source close to the royal family revealed to Page Six that the gap between the two brothers Prince William and Harry still exists. Princess Kate’s husband is quite wary of spending time alone with the Sussex family after unhappy stories in the past.
Baby Lilibet’s birthday is celebrated on June 4. On this day, Princess Kate’s family visited Cardiff Castle, Wales to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum year. On the evening of the same day, the couple and their two eldest children attended a concert at Buckingham Palace to honor the 70th year of the Queen’s reign.
Although unable to attend the birthday party, the Cambridge family, like the rest of the British royal family, congratulated her on the official social media account with the message: “Happy one year old birthday to Lilibet!“, with a balloon icon.
