Chaos in Hoc Mon, 1 dead

According to initial information, around 0:00 on March 18, many people on Tran Van Muoi Street (Xuan Thoi Thuong commune, Hoc Mon district) heard the sound of arguing in the street, so they opened the door to see. They saw two groups of more than a dozen young people on motorbikes chasing each other on the street, slashing each other wildly and then two people were injured. A victim was transported to the emergency room by motorbike, heading to Pham Van Hon Street.

After being taken to the emergency hospital, the victim of PKD (24 years old, living in Hoc Mon district) could not survive. In addition, another injured person is being treated at the hospital.

A source said that these two groups had a dispute before on social networks and arranged to meet in front of a coffee shop on Tran Van Muoi Street to resolve the conflict.

Upon receiving the news, Xuan Thoi Thuong Commune Police and related units were present to examine the scene and extract security camera data. The case file was transferred to Hoc Mon District Police and Ho Chi Minh City Police. The investigative agency has invited related subjects to testify. Authorities also seized a number of exhibits.
