The victim was identified as Pham Duc Trung (SN 2003), residing in Cat Thanh village, Thanh Tan commune, Thach Thanh district, Thanh Hoa, studying Korean at the Korean Language Center in Thanh Hoa city.
After more than a day since the victim’s body was discovered, the police identified Le Van Hoang (SN 2004), working at Quang Thanh Petrol Store (Tan Trong Street, Quang Thanh Ward, Thanh Hoa City) as a suspect. offense and arrest.
At the police station, Hoang initially admitted that through social relations, he had known Pham Duc Trung.
On May 20, Trung borrowed 5 million VND from Hoang at an interest rate of 5,000 VND/day/million VND. In which, Hoang directly cut the profit of 2.7 million dong and only gave Trung the amount of 2.3 million dong.
After lending Trung money, he didn’t pay for the appointment, but he called but Trung turned off the phone.
Can’t find Trung, so Hoang set up a Facebook account pretending to be a woman to befriend Pham Duc Trung and asked Trung to come to his house at 10/146 Thanh Chuong street, Quang Thanh ward, Thanh Hoa city.
On the afternoon of May 25, Hoang made an appointment to meet Trung at Hoang’s house. When Trung entered the yard, Hoang ran out to close the door and threatened Trung to pay.
At this time, Trung was afraid to run into the house, Hoang ran after using an aluminum kettle to hit his head repeatedly, causing Trung to fall to the floor and die.
After determining Trung was dead, Hoang used adhesive tape and wrapped the body, at about 10 pm on the same day, he carried Trung’s body and threw it into the Ma Phi tang river.
After that, Hoang brought Trung’s assets including Airblade motorbikes, laptops and mobile phones to sell for personal consumption money.
