The successful path of the CEO of Binance, the billionaire who owns the largest digital asset in the world, has just come to Vietnam

Billionaire Changpeng Zhao (CZ) – CEO of Binance was just present in Hanoi on June 4 and had a meeting with the Vietnamese blockchain community.

The cryptocurrency billionaire with a fortune of $96 billion came to Hanoi to meet with leaders of Vietnamese ministries and technology circles. The program is part of a series of events coordinated by the Vietnam Blockchain Association.

One of the highlights of CZ’s visit to Vietnam this time is that Binance announced a cooperation in research exchange, Blockchain technology application and human resource training in Vietnam and internationally through the Vietnam Blockchain Association. Sharing with the Vietnamese technology world at the Vietnam NFT Summit event – Solutions for a new era, Mr. Changpeng Zhao (CZ) – CEO of Binance – said that Blockchain is a new technology for the digital economy.

Binance CEO said at the event: “Along with the active activities of the Vietnam Blockchain Association, I pledge that Binance will always comply with Vietnamese laws, put users first, for Vietnamese users in particular and Users around the world believe that the Binance platform is one of the most secure and trusted in the world.”

Also at the event, Mr. Ngo Duc Thang, Director of the Government Cipher Department affirmed that Blockchain is one of the digital technology fields on the priority list of research, development and application for the Second Industrial Revolution. Wednesday at Decision No. 2117/QD-TTg dated December 16, 2020 of the Prime Minister.

“In the coming time, the Government will continue to facilitate, encourage and promote early businesses to proactively accelerate the process of digital transformation in which blockchain technology is the mainstay. It is expected that by 2030, blockchain will create 40 million jobs, 10% – 20% of the global economic infrastructure will run on Blockchain technology systems,” Thang noted.

Outside the event, the Chinese billionaire had the opportunity to enjoy pho and especially the famous egg coffee in Hanoi with experts from the Vietnam Blockchain Association.

“The coffee is really good, but I don’t really drink it that much, maybe that’s why I still have jet lag. Pho is different, pho is definitely in the top 3 of my favorite dishes”, shared CZ when asked about the dishes he just ate.

Biography of Changpeng Zhao

Changpeng Zhao was born in Jiangsu province – China in 1977 into an intellectual family whose mother was a teacher and father was a professor. But turbulence began to hit his family in the 1980s, his family decided to move abroad, settling in Vancouver, Canada.

Perhaps what no one expected is that a rich billionaire like CZ once had to go through a difficult and difficult childhood in a foreign land because of many barriers from language, culture, weather, etc. way of life, way of life. In order to support his family, at that time, the boy Changpeng Zhao had to go to school and work different jobs to earn extra income. CZ started working at a McDonald’s and also took advantage of the night shift at a local gas station.

Chengpeng Zhao attended McGill University in Montreal to major in Computer Science.
