BrotherThe custom model was designed and built by an engineer himself, with the 8-liter V10 engine of the Dodge Viper GTS sports car.
To many people, Allen Millyard is a genius engineer with some particularly impressive work, much of it using only hand tools and a small saw. One of them is a Viper V10 engine model that he completed in 2009.
In the video, Allen test-drives the car as it prepares to take it in for a routine check-up. After a year of lying still, the giant motorbike was filled with gasoline and rolled through some small roads. The odometer shows that the car has run more than 14,700 km.
When starting the engine, the sound of the 8.0 V10 engine can be clearly heard on the road, the engine rpm exceeds 1,500 rpm.
This engine is originally from the 1995 Dodge Viper GTS sports car with a capacity of about 500 horsepower. The engine block alone weighs 340 kg and accounts for most of the weight of the motorcycle weighing a total of 630 kg.
Because the V10 engine is so big, a regular motorcycle frame just can’t suffice. Instead, Allen created two sets of subframes that were attached to the front and rear of the engine.
Allen took the car to the Isle of Man TT race track and under the control of motorcycle reporter Bruce Dunn from the daily newspaper. Motor Cycle NewsMillyard Viper V10 reached a speed of 322 km / h.
