The incident happened at an ATM in Fujian province, China and was recorded by surveillance cameras.
Specifically, a person women was standing to withdraw money at an ATM when suddenly a man approached from behind and held a knife to his neck. Thinking that she would be controlled and become a victim of a robber, the young girl suddenly had an unbelievable turn of events.
After only 16 seconds of struggle, the girl caught the knife from the robber and ended up being caught by two passersby.
It is known that the perpetrator named Cai, 23 years old. He confessed to the police that the reason he carried out the robbery was because he had just been fired, so life was difficult.
To “gain up courage” to carry out the robbery, he used a 70cm long knife.
