The nanny was arrested for putting a 4-year-old boy in the clothes dryer

The victim told investigators that “Miss Chapman” put her in the dryer with a towel and then she was “twisted around”.

The boy was taken to the emergency room of UF Health Leesburg Hospital with bruises around his eyes, ears, shoulders and lower back.

The incident happened in February.

According to the boy, while the dryer was spinning, Chapman opened the door of the appliance before closing it and turning it back on.

The medical report on the incident said that doctors found the injuries on the boy’s body consistent with his account.

After gathering enough evidence, police arrested Chapman last weekend.

The 35-year-old nanny is being released on bail after posting a $15,000 bond.

Chapman is facing first-degree child abuse charges and will appear in court on May 2.

Police have not yet revealed the nanny’s motive for action.
